It looks like it just opened today, Monday, May 5🙌
Here it is on the map↓
The address is Lux 2 Bankan B109, 1-22 Koshienguchi Kitamachi, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. This used to be the bakery “Breadart(ブレッダート)”.
Around “Bakery Glede”

Bakery Glede has opened on the basement 1st floor of this brick-style building. It’s the same building that houses Taishu Curry Tamaki and coffee specialty shop MUC.

If you go this way, the residential area continues.

If you go the other way, you’ll find Yakitori Okamoto, FamilyMart, and then the rotary in front of JR Koshienguchi Station.

When you enter the building, there’s an open atrium, and just a little below your line of sight you can see Bakery Glede~

Since it opened today, there were lots of congratulatory flowers on display💐
We got a look at what kinds of bread they sell
Monchan @ Nishitsu SP sent us photos of the inside of the shop and some of the products, so we’ll share them here~🥐

Freshly baked bread is lined up all across the counter.

They also have a great selection of savory breads~ The fillings look nice and chunky, and the colors are lovely✨

There are sweet breads too, like salt bread, an-butter, and chocolate. Maybe the dough is on the harder, crustier side? It looks like it would have a nice bite and taste delicious😋

Their signature bread is called “Glede,” the same as the shop name. Apparently, in Norwegian it means “joy,” “happiness,” or “pleasure.”

They also have baked sweets like cookies and financiers🧁🍪

Corn cookies sound intriguing! They’re not shown in this photo, but it looks like the financiers have “sake lees” kneaded into them~
Final Thoughts
A new bakery has arrived in Koshienguchi~ Bread lovers won’t want to miss this one🍞 Come to think of it, this building was recently featured on the TV program “Birubura! Retro Tanbo” too! Why not enjoy the atmosphere of the building while you’re there to pick up some bread?😄
