With the Summer Koshien tournament soon heading into its final stretch, we figured this would be a good time to share some fresh info on shops and other places that have newly opened around Koshien Stadium over the past year.

An “okonomiyaki” shop that opened on July 1 this year
This is “Okonomiyaki Teru,” a takeout and delivery-only okonomiyaki shop.

Apparently they also have a one-coin, one-handed menu item called the Koshien Ippon Shobu-yaki.

A new “curry” shop that opened around June this year
“Tsunoda Curry (津の田カリー)” has opened on the 1st floor of Koshien Plus near Hanshin Koshien Stadium.

Their catchphrase is “hotel curry for everyone.”

A new “mazesoba” shop that opened in June
“Ramen KING,” a shop specializing in Taiwan mazesoba, opened in front of Koshien Stadium.

They serve both Taiwan mazesoba and ramen.

A “baby castella specialty shop” has opened in Koshien Kyubancho along the Rinko Line.

The sign is pretty understated, but it does say “baby castella.”
