“Wait, this is a clinic?!” With a café-like waiting area and full-scale rehabilitation facilities, a future-style clinic is coming to Nishinomiya. Nakashima Internal Medicine, Cardiology & Orthopedic Surgery Clinic Nishinomiya will be holding an open house〜
It will be held over 4 days: 8/27(Wed), 28(Thu), 29(Fri), and 30(Sat). Hours are 10:00〜14:00〜.
There will be a Yuge Roastery pop-up, sweets from Patisserie Cocoro, rehab experiences（Redcord, etc.）, foot sole analysis, vascular age consultations, and more. On the 29th only, a music band will be coming too♪ It’s going to feel almost like a school festival〜

It’s a 1-minute walk from Hanshin-Kokudo Station. It’s across from the new hospital currently under construction, “Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya General Medical Center (tentative)”〜.
An open house that doesn’t feel like a clinic, with coffee from Yuge Roastery
The popular Nishinomiya specialty coffee shop Yuge Roastery will appear in the café space（on the 27th and 30th）.
Taking a relaxed look around with coffee in hand sounds pretty wonderful, doesn’t it〜? To celebrate the opening, coffee filters will also be given to the first 50 visitors each day.
Is this really a clinic? A waiting area like a café
The waiting area is full of greenery.
It has an atmosphere inspired by Nagano’s white birch trees. Like a “forest café” where your autonomic nervous system gently settles. Isn’t the vibe just lovely〜? Looks like they’ve added even more greenery too〜
There are 4 examination rooms, plus a nutrition consultation room
It’s designed to shorten waiting times.
One room will be used for counseling by a registered dietitian. It’s nice to be able to casually ask about food-related concerns while you’re waiting, right?
Want to try the “Redcord” rehab experience?
They’ll be introducing “Redcord”, a rope-based rehabilitation system from Norway, a leader in rehabilitation.
It’s rehabilitation where you rest your body on red ropes and move with light effort. Both individual and group sessions are available. At the open house, there will be short trial sessions〜.
Well-equipped facilities for both cardiac rehab and orthopedic rehab
Heart rate and exercise load can be centrally managed on a PC, with control of up to 5 machines at once. There are also group lessons that can still be tailored to each person. Two restrooms are available, including one wheelchair-accessible restroom〜.
Treating the person, not just the illness
According to Director Nakashima,
the goal is not only to cure, but to stay close to “that person’s life.” About 15 staff members have come together under the shared idea of contributing to society, and they’ll be there to welcome you〜
