The “Koyotan Bus” that runs through Koyoen will begin full-scale operation next spring〜🎉
(Information provided by Pon-chan)
Here it is↓

So glad〜〜〜. We’ve covered this bus several times in the past〜
During the third trial run held from January to July, ridership averaged 71.5 people per day, exceeding the target of 70! On the final day, it was apparently used by as many as 103 people.
The name is now “Koyotan Bus”
Until now it had been called “コヨタンバス,” but after a survey of visitors at the Koyoen Summer Festival, the hiragana version “こよたんバス” was by far the most popular and was chosen〜. It has a nice, relaxed feel♪

They’re looking for a character!
They are currently accepting submissions for a “Koyotan Bus” character.

The deadline is September 30, and submissions are to be dropped into “opinion boxes” at places like Koyoen Station and the community center.
Full-scale operation is planned to start next spring
Because procedures with the national government and other steps are required, full-scale operation will begin around next spring at the earliest. An opening ceremony is also planned when service starts〜🙌
Finally
The “Koyotan Bus” leisurely runs through the town of Koyoen. In spring, passengers can also enjoy the cherry blossoms along the route, so for locals and visitors alike, riding it with a bit of an ohanami drive vibe may become a new regular thing.
※Pon-chan, thank you for the information!!
