“Taiwan ramen” actually originated in Japan. It was created by the founder of the Nagoya ramen shop “味仙” (Misen), and the name apparently comes from the fact that he was from Taiwan. It’s said to be a ramen adaptation based on the Taiwanese home-style dish “担仔麺（tan tsu men）”〜
