Nishinomiya has been seriously strong so far! Past Grand Gold Awards(West Area)
1st West Area Grand Gold Award: うまいもん屋 晴(Nishinomiya)
A restaurant in Kotoen!

うまいもん屋 晴 won the very first Grand Gold Award for western Japan!

Rich flavor × dashi hits hard! Nishinomiya took home the very first crown〜.
2nd West Area Grand Gold Award: ねずみ女が作る妖怪カレー(Nishinomiya)
A curry specialty shop that opened in Koshienguchi last year.

When I first heard the name, I was like, “Seriously?!” That “ねずみ女が作る妖怪カレー” won the second Grand Gold Award for western Japan.

With its bewitching marriage of spices and dashi, Nishinomiya made it two wins in a row. Nishinomiya is strong.

Nishi2 has previously visited “一竹” in Kurakuen, “食卓エンネ” in Koshienguchi, and “番馬亭(soba in the article) ” in Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi. “ラットレース,” which made Shachomi’s T-shirt, also tried “豚KIMU🌶️CARRY😋UDON(pork kimchi curry udon)”〜.

So, who will win the 3rd Grand Gold Award for western Japan〜?
The 3rd announcement will be held at the “Honwaka Shotengai” pedestrian zone!
The results will be announced at the Honwaka Shotengai pedestrian zone〜.

Getting to witness the moment of the award in person sounds pretty exciting, doesn’t it?! Be sure to check out the association booth’s curry udon too〜
Finally
There are several places in Nishinomiya where you can eat curry udon〜. If the Nishinomiya-born Japan Curry Udon Association keeps building momentum, I think way more people will get to know Nishinomiya, so please vote for whichever restaurant you like through the dedicated form〜〜.
