There is a cafe called “シャンブル・ド・イチカワ” on the first floor of Shukugawa Green Town.
Actually, this place used to be a general goods shop, not a cafe.
I remember how, when I was little, I often used to look at the toy train running in the display window that could be seen from outside.
Since becoming a cafe, it has become a familiar local spot, often used for meeting up or killing a little time.
They also have quite a few lunch menu items, so this time I went to try lunch there.

Cafe “シャンブル・ド・イチカワ” Food
They have rice dishes, pasta, sandwiches, and more, but this time I ordered the “Katsu Curry” (800 yen) and the “C Set” (+300 yen).
The “C Set” includes a salad and a drink.
It is cafe lunch, but the portion is fairly generous (the plate is deeper than it looks).
The curry tastes a little similar to “Koshien Curry,” perhaps.
It is the classic kind of curry rice, with a reliable, comforting flavor you cannot go wrong with.
Of course, you can also use it simply as a cafe, so I think it is just right when you want to have lunch while meeting someone or having a casual discussion.
I did not try them this time, but they also have a good selection of sweets, including various cakes and parfaits.
