Nishinomiya has finally appeared in the game “Momotaro Dentetsu 2: Anata no Machi mo Kitto Aru”, released on November 13!

Of course, it’s our very own Hanshin Tigers! 🐯 Koshien Stadium is on the map too 🏟

Baumkuchen Shop

This is probably “K. B. Kaiser” in Koshien. Their baumkuchen, made just like the original German recipe, is so good.

Arts Center

That would be the “Hyogo Performing Arts Center” right by Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station. Having three halls, large, medium, and small, is pretty rare nationwide, isn’t it?

Ham Factory

I think this is the Itoham Nishinomiya Factory. Their longtime favorite Pole Wiener sausages are delicious.

Sake Brewery

Momotetsu includes two sake breweries. But Nishinomiya, the town of Miyamizu, has lots of sake breweries, so which ones could they be?

Stamina Food Factory

This has to be S Foods, maker of everyone’s favorite “Kotetchan.” That rich, savory flavor is seriously addictive. Their headquarters are in Naruohama. You’ve probably seen the sign from your car, right?

Beef Motsunabe Restaurant

This one is a tough question. Nishinomiya has a lot of motsunabe restaurants. The places below seem like strong candidates, but what do you think?

• Aburi Motsunabe Tsuyatsuya
  A hidden-away izakaya right near Hanshin Nishinomiya Station. Their seared wagyu motsunabe is the specialty.
• Motsunabe Ebisu
  This one is also near Hanshin Nishinomiya Station. Until 2023, it was called “Ikkyu.”
• Sumibi Yakiniku to Motsunabe no Omise Akari
  A restaurant south of Imazu Station. Apparently both the yakiniku and the motsunabe are excellent.
• Hakata Motsunabe Tokumaru
  A hidden-away restaurant along Yamate Kansen. You can enjoy authentic Hakata-style motsunabe here.

There are probably other great motsunabe spots too. Which place is your guess?
