The delicatessen and bento shop “Sensai” on the 1st floor of Hankyu Imazu Station has closed.
(Thanks to Nishinomiya’s N-san and KAZU@にしつーsp for the tip)
Here’s the notice↓

It looks like the shop closed at the end of last December. It had apparently been in business for 25 years.
Here’s the location on the map↓
The address is 2-45 Tsuto Kureha-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
Around “Sensai”

Across diagonally from it is Mokkosu Ramen.

If you go this way, you’ll find Drugstore Maruzen, the izakaya Ban, and then reach the Naruo-Mikage Line.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll find Zetteria, which reopened after renovating from Lotteria, Udon Ichiban, and the area toward Hanshin Imazu Station and Ekiima Imazu.
Finally

Sensai was a shop we had previously featured in a Nishitsu gourmet article about bento. They had a style where they packed the rice after you ordered, and offered a wide variety of bento, including chicken nanban and grilled mackerel. According to reviews, the rice itself was said to be good enough to be the star of the meal. They also had plenty of handmade side dishes, great value for money, and many repeat customers. It’s sad to see them close.
