It looks like a “Mochitsuki Event” will be held at Mercado Mukogawa on Sunday, February 1.

The mochi pounding starts at 10:00 a.m.
The freshly pounded mochi will apparently be handed out from around 3:00 p.m.〜. It will end once supplies run out〜

Volunteer students from nearby junior high schools and members of the neighborhood association apparently help pound the mochi. The children gathered around also look really curious.
