A meetup for families raising children with developmental disabilities or other disabilities, called “Ichi Tasu Ichi Salon,” will apparently be held at Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Dental Clinic in ACTA Nishinomiya on Wednesday, February 18.

On the floor map, it’s here↓

It’s on the outer side of the 2nd floor of the East Building.

It’s the “Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Dental Mushiba Zero Training Room”.
What is Ichi Tasu Ichi Salon?
It’s a relaxed meetup where families raising children with developmental disabilities or other disabilities can connect in small groups. In groups of 4 to 5 people, participants can talk about what they feel while raising children, small tips that help, concerns, and ideas. It says just listening is OK too, and personally, I think that’s the kindest part.

Going somewhere for the first time can make you nervous all by itself, right? The venue is the “Nishinomiya Kitaguchi Dental Mushiba Zero Training Room” on the 2nd floor of ACTA Nishinomiya East Building. Last time, everyone relaxed while eating the much-talked-about yogurt. It looks like a reassuring atmosphere.

There will also be a mini seminar this time
This time’s mini seminar is “About Yogurt and Gut Health.” The guest is Masaharu Horii from OHAYO Dairy Products Co., Ltd. It looks like this session will offer not only a chance to connect, but also something to learn and take home.
The participation fee is 500 yen (includes lunch and drinks). Capacity is limited to the first 20 people, and the application deadline is Sunday, 2/15.

In Closing
Some people might wonder, “Why would a dental clinic host a meetup?” But it’s precisely because, through their dental practice, they’ve heard so many voices from families raising children with developmental disabilities or other disabilities, including worries, anxiety, a lack of understanding from those around them, and concerns about the future. Ichi Tasu Ichi Salon was apparently created as a place where families and supporters in similar situations can talk and connect with peace of mind, not just about dental care.
