It looks like the “Sakura Light-Up” is happening again this year at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens.
It started on March 1. You can enjoy it from before the cherry blossoms bloom all the way through the leafy sakura season.
This is what it looked like last year. It looks magical when photographed together with the fountain show, which starts every hour on the hour and half past.
The colors of the light-up are lovely, so you might be able to capture some very spring-like photos.
At night, the illuminations were on too, and the place felt lively.
When is it held?
- Sunday, March 1 to Sunday, April 19, 2026
What time can you see it?
- 10:00 to 21:00 *The light-up starts at 17:00
The Sky Garden usually closes at 20:00, but during this period it will stay open one hour longer.
Where can you see it?
- Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens, Main Building 4F, Sky Garden

Lastly
I went to see it last year too, and it was so magical that I found myself staring at it for about 30 minutes. Once the blossoms are in full bloom, try pairing it with a visit to Shukugawa too.
