“I’d like my child to start some kind of lesson from the new school year, but…”my kid isn’t really good at sports
For moms who are thinking that:
The Nishinomiya Tennis Association’s Junior Tennis Class is now accepting additional participants for the first term of fiscal year 2026, starting in April! It’s for elementary school students, from new 1st graders to new 3rd graders.
Think “tennis looks difficult”?
Apparently, a lot of people say, “We’re interested, but it looks hard…” So for fiscal year 2026, they’ve decided to offer trial participation for elementary school students, from new 1st graders to new 3rd graders, during the April classes!
And the trial is free.
The practice menu apparently includes lots of playful elements so even kids holding a racket for the first time can have fun〜〜 If you’re thinking, “I’m nervous about signing up right away…”, it’s totally OK to start with just the trial〜
Where is it held?

It’s at Central Sports Park Tennis Court, 1-24 Kawahara-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
When is it held?
Classes are held twice a month on Sunday mornings, from 7:15 to 8:45. It’s nice that it won’t end up filling every weekend with lessons
And the cost comes out to 1,000 yen per month, or 500 yen per class. Isn’t that honestly super cheap?
The cost is 6,000 yen for the six months from April to September. (The same amount applies even if you join in April)

How to Apply
Just write 【ジュニアテニス教室体験参加希望】 in the email subject line and send the following information〜
- Participant’s name
- Grade
- Whether the participant has tennis experience, and if so, for how many years
- Parent/guardian’s name
- Parent/guardian’s phone number
- Preferred trial date (4/5 or 4/26)
