There used to be a kimono shop called Daikokuya here.
Area around Sakana Alive
If you go this way, you’ll find Yakiniku Ichiban, Oi Clinic, FamilyMart, and then head toward the Hankyu railway crossing that often gets crowded.
If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll head toward Senshu Ikeda Bank and the Yamate Kansen area.
The concept seems to be changing from a place where you buy fish to a place where you enjoy fish, which sounds pretty interesting. The owner is Yamagata-san, who has 25 years of experience in the seafood industry.
Lastly
The owner, Yamachan, apparently also holds events where he prepares fish on the spot and turns it into sashimi platters, which really feels like “Sakana Alive.” It’s great to see something fun like this happening in Nishinomiya.
