It’s been a month since the new school and work year started in April, and many of you may be getting used to your new routines by now. The weather is getting perfect for going out, so some moms and dads might be thinking it’s about time to let their little ones make their playground debut 😊
For those families, here’s a perfect place to play: the childcare space “ふたばっこ”, located inside 甲子園二葉幼稚園, about a 10-minute walk north from Hanshin Koshien Station.

If you head south, you’ll reach Hanshin Koshien Station,
If you head north, you’ll find Kobe-ya Restaurant.
Just across the road is the German sweets shop Ka-Bae Kaiser.
There is no parking lot, but there is a bicycle parking area right behind the building. (west side)
Press the intercom at the front and say, “I’m here for Futabacco,” and they’ll unlock the gate for you.
Head to the door on the right as you face the building.
Take off your shoes and enter through the automatic door. You can also leave your stroller here.
The staff will welcome you ☺️ After placing your belongings in a basket, first-time visitors fill out a registration form. From the second visit onward, write your name on the guest list and put on name tags for both parent and child 📛 Use of the space is free.
After that, you’re free to play. Staff members are always in the room, so you can relax. The space is for children ages 0 to 3, and there are lots of toys that are just right for each age and stage 🧸
