The reason seems to be that both the number of customers and sales during Golden Week far exceeded expectations, so the store will be closed for two days, May 12 (Tue) and 13 (Wed), to get its operations back in order.
It was also temporarily closed last month in April, but it seems the store is still extremely busy.
According to the post, this single Nishinomiya store is bringing in about as much sales as three of their stores in Himeji combined 😳
They had originally asked a research company to forecast sales, but the store is currently selling at about three times the predicted pace. It seems Golden Week may have pushed things even further beyond expectations.
They appear to be increasing staff as well, but because they also need to make sure employees can take time off, secure product supplies, and maintain stock for other stores, they have decided to temporarily close again this time.
Also, in the previous post, exchanges between customers in the comments section apparently became heated, so the post was deleted. The latest post also included a note asking people to be considerate of others when commenting.

It has been more than a month since Yamada Store Nishinomiya opened, but it is still drawing a huge amount of attention. Maybe many people who had been waiting to check it out decided during Golden Week that it was finally time to go.
