Scenes from Last Year’s Event
Here’s a quick look at what we saw when Nishi2 visited last year〜

This is the entrance to the venue. Once you step inside, rows of satsuki are lined up all around〜

Rows and rows of colorful satsuki. From the front all the way to the back, they’re so beautiful you’ll want to stop and take a closer look✨

Up close, you can also enjoy the subtle differences in petal colors and shapes〜. Every piece has impressive branching and blooming, making them well worth seeing.

Some works are arranged like miniature gardens. Apparently, even on the same satsuki plant, flowers with different colors and patterns can bloom, and this is called “sakawake,” or different blooms on one plant〜

Staff members were also at the venue and kindly explained the highlights of the satsuki〜. If there’s anything you’re curious about, it sounds like it would be fun to ask them. If this caught your interest, be sure to stop by〜
