It’s completely gone.
When it was still there↓

Together with Nishinomiya’s city emblem, the words “Nishinomiya City Public Restroom” had this amazingly dignified feel.

According to the sign, the project name is “Shake-cho Public Restroom Demolition Work”. The construction period is scheduled to run from April 1 to July 31.
Here it is on the map↓
The location is just south of Nishinomiya Shrine. It’s along National Route 43, a short distance west from the shrine’s South Gate.

Across the street is Japan.

If you go this way, you’ll reach the South Gate of Nishinomiya Shrine.

Next door in the opposite direction is Nishinomiya Naritasan Enmanji Temple.

This restroom was probably used quite often by people waiting for the lottery for Nishinomiya Shrine’s “Kaimon Shinji Fukuotoko Erabi”, the annual Lucky Man race held every January.

On a day-to-day basis, it seems taxi and truck drivers often used it.

There’s something here.

Lastly
A lot of people may have used this restroom during the Kaimon Shinji event. We still don’t know what will happen to the site after demolition, but we’re a little curious. Thanks for all your years of service.
※Osako-san, thank you for the information!!
