Lawson
Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya General Medical Center Store
The convenience store going into the new hospital appears to be Lawson. It looks like it will be on the 2nd floor.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 11-62 Tsuto Otsukacho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, 2nd floor of Nishinomiya General Medical Center.
Since it’s a convenience store inside a hospital, it seems the product lineup will be a little different from a regular convenience store, with no alcohol or tobacco, and medical-related items like diapers, bandages, and masks available. Very hospital-specific, isn’t it?
In Closing
I’ve always had the impression that a lot of convenience stores inside general hospitals tend to be Lawson, and apparently Lawson has a specialized format called “Hospital Lawson,” which is strong in medical and hospitalization-related products. It’s said to have the overwhelming No. 1 market share, too. *Some hospitals do have FamilyMart or 7-Eleven instead. It looks like it’ll be a reassuring presence not only for inpatients and people accompanying them, but for anyone using the hospital.
