An “fresh-squeezed apple juice” vending machine has been installed at LaLaport Koshien.

The apple juice vending machine is scheduled to start sales from June 1 (Mon.).

According to the official vending machine location map, it looks like the only “Feed ME Apple” vending machine currently in Hyogo Prefecture is this one at LaLaport Koshien. In other words, it’s the first one installed in Hyogo. Amazing! Nearby, there are apparently 4 in Osaka and 1 in Kyoto.
It apparently uses 4 to 5 whole fresh apples, and in about 60 seconds you can enjoy freshly squeezed 100% apple juice. The apple variety changes depending on the season, so it seems you can enjoy a different flavor depending on when you try it.
The price is 700 yen per cup. Pretty premium, isn’t it?
Wrapping up
Over the past few years, we’ve been seeing more fresh-squeezed orange juice vending machines around Nishinomiya, and now apple juice has arrived too. And the fact that Hyogo’s first installation is in Nishinomiya feels kind of exciting. Personally, I love fruit juice, so I’d like to try it once sales begin.
