Kansai Super Hirota appears to be reopening as “Daily Mart.”
(Thanks to Kaeitsu for the tip)
Here it is↓
It will open on Saturday, June 13.
Here’s the map↓
The address is 6-10 Murogawacho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.

It’s across the street~

If you go this way, you’ll reach McDonald’s; if you turn right, you’ll get to Hirota Shrine.

In the opposite direction, there’s Rairaitei, Cocokara Fine, and the road heading toward Route 171.
What will change when it becomes Daily Mart?
- The store name will change to dayly mart Kansai Super Hirota
- It will become a discount-style supermarket aiming for great low prices every day

- The hugely popular 10% off sale will end😢
- Weekly specials like Thursday-Friday Market, Egg Day, and Bread Day will also end🥚🍞

Why Daily Mart in the first place?
It looks like Daily Mart is a new “price-focused” supermarket format created by Kansai Food Market, which was formed by the merger of H2O Retailing’s Kansai Super, Hankyu Oasis, and Izumiya. Apparently, the first store opened in April 2025 after converting the Kansai Super Ichioka store in Osaka City. There’s also apparently a value-focused “Marche” format.
Quoted from News Release │ Kansai Food Market Ltd.
The concept is “Every day, even better deals.” Instead of relying on special sale days, the store seems to use an everyday low price model, offering low-priced items in three tiers: “Freshness First Price,” “Special Price,” and “Support Price.”
A quick look at the final business day as Kansai Super
Shachomi also stopped by on Kansai Super’s final day~

Since it was the last day, things were super cheap and the shelves were getting empty~~

When someone said, “If you don’t buy this, what are you even buying~?” I ended up buying two of the peach ones lol

The clearance vegetables were also really cheap that day~
Daily Mart seems to have a section called Shock Price, where they’ll apparently sell super-cheap items like this. Looking at reviews of other Daily Mart locations, chicken breast and other items are reportedly incredibly cheap.
Finally
It’s pretty surprising that the Hirota store is becoming “Daily Mart,” isn’t it? This might spread not only to the Hirota store but to other locations as well. After the renovation, it sounds like it’ll be a store with low prices every day, so that’s exciting in its own way. Still, it may feel a little sad to lose the familiar Monday-Tuesday 10% off discounts.
