What kind of restaurant is “Kabe no Ana”?
Quoted from the Kabe no Ana official website
“Kabe no Ana” is a long-established spaghetti specialty restaurant known as the birthplace of tarako spaghetti. Founded in 1953, it now seems to operate around 10 locations, mainly in the Kanto area and Osaka. The restaurant is said to have helped popularize “Japanese-style spaghetti” made with Japanese ingredients such as tarako, sea urchin, and natto.
The former “Sicilia no Asaichi” had more of an Italian bar feel, but the new “Kabe no Ana” looks like it will be a restaurant centered around spaghetti dishes🍝
Menu
The images below are quoted from the Kabe no Ana official grand menu.

There are as many as 9 varieties of their famous tarako spaghetti. Looks like you can choose from classics to more unique options🍝

They also have a very full lineup of Japanese-style spaghetti, including sea urchin, clams, natto, and more.

There are also tomato sauce and cream sauce spaghetti dishes.

From oil-based pasta and seafood to Genovese. The colors look gorgeous too✨

They also have squid ink and meat sauce dishes. It looks like they offer flat pasta such as tagliatelle too.

They have all kinds of appetizers too. Looks good for drinks as well.

They also have a nice selection of dolce such as homemade cakes, plus drinks and alcoholic beverages.

Looks like they have set menus too. It seems like a good spot not only for lunch, but also when you want to take your time over a meal☕️
In Closing
At ACTA Nishinomiya, “Spaghetti King” also opened on the 1st floor of the East Building this April, so this area is quietly becoming a hot spot for pasta.
