The abura soba specialty shop “Kirinji”, which we covered in a Nishitsu opening article in mid-November, had its grand opening on January 6.
Believe it or not, one of the congratulatory flower arrangements was from Yokozuna Hakuho!

Here’s the location ↓ It’s on the 1st floor of “Top Coffee” in front of Kwansei Gakuin University’s main gate.
Business hours and menu are here ↓

Abura soba, unlike ramen or tsukemen, doesn’t have soup. Apparently, you eat freshly boiled noodles tossed in oil, and it’s a Tokyo specialty… no wonder it feels a little unfamiliar (^_^;)
As for regular holidays, see here ↓ It looks like they’re open every day (^O^)/

On opening day, the shop was lively with Kwansei Gakuin students. Kirinji also has locations near Osaka University, Kansai Gaidai University, Kansai University, and Kindai University (^O^)/
