The second installment in our roast beef bowl feature is “西宮肉劇場,” a place we previously covered in a food article.

It’s a grilled meat bowl restaurant, but apparently its most popular menu item is the “Roast Beef Bowl.”
Roast beef bowls really are popular, aren’t they?
“西宮肉劇場” Food
They do of course have a regular roast beef bowl, but this time I went with the “肉劇場タワー,” a mega-sized roast beef serving.
This is the “肉劇場タワー” (1,800 yen).
It comes with soup.
Here’s a slightly closer look.
It’s really impressive.
It feels like a tower of roast beef has been added on top of a regular roast beef bowl.
You can choose the amount of rice from “regular,” “large,” or “extra-large” at no extra charge, but considering the balance with the meat, I think “large” or “extra-large” is best (the photo shows a large serving).
It’s an extremely simple roast beef bowl, so you can directly enjoy the flavor of the roast beef.
The rice is plain white rice, and the sauce is quite sweet. Mixing it with the egg yolk makes it even milder.
Apparently there’s a total of 300g of roast beef on top, but I ended up finishing it surprisingly easily.

If you order a grilled meat bowl, you choose a sauce, and there’s also a chart for the sauces.
By the way, for the roast beef bowl, you don’t choose a sauce.
It’s a meal-ticket system, so when you enter the restaurant, buy your ticket first.
