There used to be a meat dish specialty restaurant called “BifRost（ビフロスト）” in the Koshienguchi Shopping Street.
The restaurant closed a little while ago, but after that, they continued operating as a bento shop.
Their roast beef bowl was a very popular menu item, and that same roast beef bowl was also available on the bento menu.
So this time, I bought the “Roast Beef Bowl” from the bento menu at “BifRost（ビフロスト）.”

“BifRost（ビフロスト）” Food
This is the “Roast Beef Bowl” (900 yen).
Since it was a bento, I ate it after returning to the editorial office.
I rode quite a distance by bicycle, but the bowl still kept its shape nicely. That’s one of the good things about a roast beef bowl.

This roast beef bowl had a strong flavor of green onion, sesame oil, and salt, giving it a feel almost like Korean cuisine.
You can’t see it in the photo, but there’s a layer of nori seaweed on top of the rice, which adds to that impression even more.
The roast beef itself is thinly sliced and rare, which is the recent mainstream style, but the seasoning really changes the overall character of the dish.
The egg on roast beef bowls is often just the yolk or an onsen egg, but since this one is for takeout, it comes with a raw egg.
Personally, I quite like roast beef bowls with raw egg too.
