and
went to
the cafe “Ondes(オンド)”, located just after you exit Kotoen Station toward McDonald’s and turn south at the Lawson corner.

Lunch at Cafe “Ondes(オンド)”
Komatsuna quiche↓↓↓
It was a fluffy quiche with a gentle flavor (*^^)v

Japanese Black Wagyu hamburger steak↓↓↓
A hamburger steak where you can really taste the meat! At the time, the little boy at the next table had his rice shaped like Snoopy, so I asked for mine to be made cute too (#^.^#)

Lunch comes with dessert and a drink (*^^)v
The coffee is from “KINGLY COFFEE(キングリーコーヒー)”, which Nishitsu previously wrote about, and it’s a special blend roasted just for Ondes (*^^)v
On this day, dessert was caramel mousse! The strawberry was heart-shaped💓 Little details like that make us so happy(*^_^*)

Here’s the drink menu↓

The lunch and cake menu is on the blackboard above the counter!

Inside Cafe “Ondes(オンド)”
There are two tables for four and four counter seats.

On the left side as you enter the shop, there are two Japanese chests of drawers that the owner inherited from her grandmother, packed full of carefully selected items!

Some are coin purses handmade with care by an elderly acquaintance, others feature illustrations by artists the owner loves… and of course, there are cookies made in the shop too (*^^)v
Apparently, proceeds from the handmade coin purses and glasses cases are donated to UNICEF!
(They were so well and neatly made that I couldn’t help wondering what kind of person made them… and I ended up taking one home with me(^^♪)

Cute illustrated cards and more (*^^)v↓

The cookies look like this↓
We bought some back to Nishitsu headquarters and all ate them together(^^) The owner said, “Sweet treats make people happy💓🍰💓”!
Those delicious cookies definitely made every member of the team happy (*^^)v

They also make custom birthday cakes! Someone eating lunch at the next table said they had a cake made in the shape of the instrument their daughter plays.

Here’s what the outside looks like↓

And the owner is “Patty-san,” a pastry chef. She has such a lovely smile! Or rather, she’s absolutely overflowing with smiles!(^^)!

I felt like “Patty-san’s” personality is what really makes the sweet treats taste so good (*^^)v
Patty-san is multi-talented: she painted some of the pictures inside the shop, has made her live house debut playing the ukulele, and takes ballet lessons too!
She also loves cats, so there’s a donation box like this in the shop🐱

Finally
The owner, “Patty-san,” has apparently been a fan of Nishitsu since it was founded, and she warmly welcomed our visit (*^^)v
“Patty-san’s” personality brightens the atmosphere of the shop, and the food she makes, especially the sweet cakes and cookies, makes you feel happy.
It’s very close to Kotoen Station, so why not stop by this shop filled with “Patty-san’s” favorite things sometime(^^)
Update
When we visited at the end of July, it had become a “mocktail” shop \(^o^)/

A “mocktail” is a non-alcoholic drink whose name combines “mock,” meaning imitate, and “cocktail.”
Please try these stylish, beautiful, and sophisticated drinks!
That’s what it said (^o^)/

They look like this!
They seem good for your body too, and very Instagrammable (*^^)v

The food menu had also changed to individual items, ordered together with drinks (*^^)v
