Every year, we visit Ebessan on the night of the 10th.
It gets this crowded every year! Here’s what the approach looked like around 19:30 ↓ It was packed with people even before entering through the Akamon Gate… entry restrictions were in place.
At night, the area in front of the main shrine hall has a magical feel ↓
Because entry was restricted, things felt much more relaxed after paying our respects… We exited on the left side facing the main hall.
There were festival-style attractions like shooting galleries and even a haunted house (^O^)／
