We covered “カドヤ食堂” inside Gardens in an opening article last year, but we weren’t able to feature it in a food article before the year ended.
So this time, we visited “カドヤ食堂 Nishinomiya Gardens,” which has now been open for about half a year.
It was already a popular ramen shop in Osaka, and apparently the Nishinomiya Gardens location also has some exclusive menu items.

Chinese Soba “カドヤ食堂 Nishinomiya Gardens” Food
This time, I ordered the “A Set” (1,200 yen) from the “Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens Limited Set” menu.
It’s a set with “Niboshi Chuka Soba” and “Chashu Rice.”
This is the “Niboshi Chuka Soba.”
And this is the “Chashu Rice.”
The “Niboshi Chuka Soba” has a very strong dried sardine broth flavor.
It’s the kind of seafood-based ramen that has been popular lately.
The noodles are straight, medium-thin noodles, and the toppings are simple: chashu, nori, and green onions.
You can really taste the umami of the seafood directly, so this is recommended for anyone who likes seafood-style ramen.
The “Chashu Rice” comes topped with chopped pork belly chashu, zha cai, and green onions, and you mix it all together before eating.
The sauce is also very tasty, bringing out the sweetness of the pork belly fat.
The zha cai adds a nice accent, making it a rice dish that pairs really well with the ramen.
