In Closing
Hopefully, this Plastic Bag Disappearance Campaign will encourage as many people as possible to start carrying their own reusable bags as part of efforts to reduce marine plastic waste.
Looking at the Nishinomiya City website, it seems the city is putting a lot of effort into its plastic bag reduction initiative. (Nishinomiya City “Plastic Bag Disappearance Initiative”)
At the Daiei near the Nishitsu editorial office, free distribution of plastic shopping bags will end as of Friday, January 31.
