The other day, I visited “らぁ麺かりん 西宮北口店,” which recently opened on the 1st floor of ACTA Nishinomiya West Wing.
It’s apparently the second location of the popular Amagasaki shop “支那そばかりん,” and it has been so busy since opening that lines have been forming.
So what kind of shop is it?

“らぁ麺かりん 西宮北口店” Food
The main “ramen” menu comes in three varieties: salt, soy sauce, and miso. This time, I ordered the “salt ramen.”
This is the “salt ramen” (850 yen).
The soup is clear and looks delicious at first glance.
I think the soup is probably mainly chicken-bone based, though there may be some seafood in it too…
It was a light soup, and the saltiness wasn’t overpowering.
As you can see in the photo, it also contains yuzu peel, so the yuzu aroma really comes through.
The noodles are medium-thin and straight.
The toppings are thick-cut menma, seasoned soft-boiled egg, tsukune chicken meatball, chicken chashu, green onion, and nori seaweed.
The chicken chashu was an unusual kind made with rare chicken tenderloin.
The bowl is fairly deep, so I think there’s more in it than it looks, but it was light and easy to eat, so I finished it in no time.
