When we previously did a hamburger feature, I thought we had eaten our way through almost every hamburger in Nishinomiya, but I had overlooked a hamburger and pancake shop in the food court at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens.

This time, we visited “ELK NEW YORK BRUNCH Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens” and tried their hamburger.

Hamburger at “ELK NEW YORK BRUNCH Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens”

We ordered the “New York Burger” (1,480 yen).

For the buns, you can choose between “whole wheat” and “black.”

The “black” bun is apparently made with squid ink.

This time, we went with “whole wheat.”

It’s a hamburger with a patty, onion, tomato, cheddar cheese, bacon, and pickles.

It comes with a side and a drink, and we chose fries and hot coffee.

It comes with a paper wrapper, so you place the burger inside and eat it that way.

The sauce isn’t too strong, so this is a hamburger where you can really taste the ingredients directly.

The tomato in particular was cut thick and felt very juicy.

The bacon and cheddar cheese also added flavor and brought out the taste of the patty.

Each ingredient had a well-balanced presence, but the patty was still clearly the star of this burger.
