Near Hankyu Kurakuenguchi Station, there is a yakiniku restaurant called “紅炎亭” that opened about two years ago.
It was listed on the “Kurakuen Strolling Map,” but not in the “Kurakuen Passport,” so I asked about it. Apparently, it was included in the first stamp rally, but not this time.
That said, if you go to the restaurant, you can still get a stamp.
So today, I’d like to introduce “紅炎亭.”
This time, I tried their lunch menu.

Yakiniku “紅炎亭” Food
From the lunch menu, I ordered the “Kalbi and Roast Beef Gozen” (1,600 yen).
It comes as a set with “kalbi,” “roast beef,” “salad,” “chilled tofu,” “rice,” “miso soup,” “two kinds of namul,” and “kimchi.”
The roaster uses a gas burner, but the flame doesn’t hit the meat directly, so it’s less likely that only the surface will burn.
There was also hardly any smoke, so there may be some kind of secret in the roaster.
The restaurant apparently uses only Omi beef and A4/A5-ranked Kuroge Wagyu beef from Kyushu. The kalbi had plenty of marbling but wasn’t heavy, with a nice sweetness from the fat, while the roast let you fully enjoy the rich flavor of lean beef. Both were very delicious.
Since the meat is such high quality, personally I think it’s best not to overcook it.
Being able to enjoy such a luxurious lunch at this price makes it a great deal.
