At Sandwich + Bakery “Coco”, located near the intersection just before Iwazono Tunnel on the way to Ashiya,
we picked up some sandwiches with flavors you just can’t make at home (*^^)v

Sandwiches from Sandwich + Bakery “Coco”

From the left: Premium Egg Sandwich, Apple Mango Fruit Sandwich, and BLT Sandwich

Premium Egg Sandwich…The shop’s most popular item! “Made with carefully selected red eggs, seasoned with special mayonnaise and natural mineral salt, this sandwich has a perfect balance of richness and mellow flavor.” Just looking at it, you can tell these aren’t ordinary eggs! The egg flavor was rich, and it was an egg sandwich unlike any I’d had before !(^^)! Recommended for people who like mayo-style egg sandwiches.
Apple Mango Fruit Sandwich…Besides mango, it had kiwi, peach, pineapple, and strawberry! It tasted more like cake than bread (#^.^#) The character of the fruit, the whipped cream, and the bread all come together in your mouth and make it even more delicious.
BLT Sandwich…“Please enjoy the exquisite flavor of our original sauce with bacon, lettuce, and tomato”, just as it says, the sauce is amazing!! The lightly toasted bread has a fragrant flavor that stands up to the bacon and sauce, and it’s the kind of sandwich you just want to devour !(^^)!
All of the sandwiches came with the crusts on. But as expected from the shop’s original bread, made so even the crusts are delicious! It didn’t feel like “crust” at all, but more like part of the flavor!!!
And the secret behind flavors you can’t recreate at home is the sauces made specially for each sandwich! They’re all homemade and prepared by hand in the shop(^^♪

Finally
It looks like the eat-in space is currently closed. On the shop’s website, there was information about the owner’s thoughts, the history of the shop, and their dedication to ingredients and sauces. It’s too bad I couldn’t meet them ^_^;
Be sure to check out the website before enjoying the sandwiches! They’ll taste even better!
Here’s hoping daily life returns soon so we can enjoy these delicious sandwiches in the eat-in space again (*^^)v
