We went to film a video of Hanshin Electric Railway’s Akado car, which is set to retire at the end of this month.
It’s sad to see the Akado cars, which have been so familiar since childhood, disappear.
When I thought of Hanshin trains, I always pictured the blue-bodied cars, the red-bodied cars, and the occasional train with a body that looked like duralumin, but it seems the image of Hanshin trains is going to change.
The video was filmed at Higashi-Naruo Station on the Mukogawa Line.
It’s a short video, but please enjoy the proud final appearance of the Akado car.
