Introducing shops visited by Nishi2’s gourmet writer 
in our “Nishi2 Gourmet” series.
This time, we visited a place just steps from Koshienguchi Station…
A shop known for its delicious tonkotsu ramen:
“麺や白ぼし”
We went to check it out☺️
麺や白ぼし opened on Friday, March 15,
and since we’d been curious about it, we went right away on opening day✨
Since it was opening day, there was a bit of a line.
Being right in front of the station, it really catches your eye, and quite a few people stopped to peek inside😀
The shop has two floors.
On the first floor, there’s a counter for six people and three tables for two.
There are also seats on the second floor, with 28 seats in total.
Here’s what we had this time↓
★Tonkotsu Ramen（750 yen）
The soup is a lighter-style tonkotsu,
with a gentle, comforting flavor that’s really delicious☺️❤️
It was a delicious flavor unlike anything I’d had before⭐️
For the noodles, you can choose between “straight” and “curly”.
This time, I chose the straight noodles! They had a nice firmness and were delicious✨
The chashu has a firm bite and is the leaner, less oily type.
Other toppings included one sheet of nori, bean sprouts, and green onions.

During lunch only, you can add mini fried rice to any ramen for +150 yen.
Besides mini fried rice, they also have karaage rice bowls and plain rice!
The fried rice had a mild, gentle flavor that makes a nice finish after tonkotsu, and Mii really liked it☺️❤️
Besides the ramen we had this time, they also have soba and limited-quantity tantanmen, which sounds intriguing😁
They also have gyoza on the side menu✨
