There is a tempura specialty restaurant called “Ebinoya” on the 2nd floor of LaLaport Koshien.
Like “Kushiya Monogatari” and “Sachifukuya,” which we have covered before, this restaurant is operated by Fujio Food System. In Nishinomiya, there are two locations: one at Ebisuta and this one.
This time, we had a tempura set meal at this restaurant.

Tempura “Ebinoya” Dishes
There are many set meal options, but this time we chose the “Seafood Gozen” (1,380 yen).
It comes as a set with tempura, rice, miso soup, and three small side dishes.
All menu items include all-you-can-eat mentaiko.
You can upgrade your rice to a large serving for +150 yen (the photo shows the large serving).
The miso soup was a rich akadashi red miso soup.
Here is the main tempura plate, packed with two shrimp, conger eel, squid, white fish, and two kinds of vegetables.
You can enjoy a variety of seafood tempura, and the conger eel in particular is fried whole, so big that it almost spills off the plate!
It was very filling.
The vegetables this time were eggplant and pumpkin, but the selection may change depending on the season.

The “Seafood Gozen” we ordered this time has the largest number of tempura items on the menu, so it is recommended for anyone who wants to try a variety of tempura or eat their fill.
