Professional baseball opened in June, but until now games had been played without spectators as a COVID-19 precaution.
And starting today, games will finally be played with fans in attendance, though with limited capacity.
It looks like preparations are steadily moving ahead at Koshien Stadium to welcome spectators.
The Tigers Shop is getting ready to open.
There are also signs with COVID-19 safety guidance.
In front of the shop, there are boards featuring Chikamoto and Itohara.
Chikamoto is also known for having attended Kwansei Gakuin University in Nishinomiya.
I’d like to see both of them hit a bit more, though…
Preparations are also underway at the Tigers Shop on the opposite side.

Both were already open.
This board usually displays photos of the players, but today it showed the rules for watching games.
Jet balloons are prohibited.
Flags are prohibited.
Waving towels around is prohibited.
Shouting loudly is prohibited.
High-fives are prohibited.
The use of noisemakers is prohibited.
That’s what the rules say.
In addition to these, there are rules such as temperature checks and disinfection upon entry, wearing masks, and keeping your ticket stub and related data, so if you’re going to watch a game, please be careful.
Koshien Stadium is gradually getting its energy back.
Hopefully the Hanshin Tigers can make a comeback too!
