Tried the Bite-Sized Steak Lunch at Steak Haruyama in Koshien Takashiocho!【Nishitsu Gourmet】

Nishitsu’s food writer introduces the restaurants she’s visited in our “Nishitsu Gourmet” series.
This time, we went to

a steak restaurant
“Steak Haruyama”
about a 5-minute walk from Hanshin Koshien Station!

The interior has a very calm, upscale atmosphere.

I went on opening day, and the restaurant was lively, especially with younger customers❗️

Here’s what I had this time ↓

★ Bite-Sized Steak Lunch 200g (1,700 yen before tax)

The lunch menu comes with salad, miso soup, rice or bread, and tea or coffee.

At Steak Haruyama, they grill the meat right in front of you, and all the seats are at the counter. That alone gets you excited😆✨

The meat is tender, with a gentle sweetness, and it’s delicious even on its own❗️

They grill it at the customer’s pace so it doesn’t cool down, so the portion is actually a little more than what you see in the photo✨

There are plenty of sauces and salts prepared…
From the right: bonito salt, rock salt, and garlic chips.

These are miso and soy sauce.

First, I enjoyed trying each flavor✨

The bonito salt has a lovely bonito aroma and really whets your appetite!

The garlic chips are amazing, and when eaten together with the soy sauce-based sauce, they’re even more delicious❤️

At the end, I had some tea and took a relaxing break❤️

This time I had the 200g bite-sized steak, but they also had course menus!

The staff had a great atmosphere too, and I had a really enjoyable meal☺️✨
