New Bakery 麭(ぱん)屋さん in Futamicho Nishinomiya Opens April 3! We Were Too Curious Not to Visit【Nishitsu Gourmet】

Introducing restaurants visited by Nishitsu’s food correspondent in our “Nishitsu Gourmet” series.
This time, we visited a bakery that opened on April 3, 2019 along Yamate Kansen, about a 10-minute walk from JR Koshienguchi Station:

“麭(ぱん)屋さん”

麭屋さん uses domestic wheat flour and homemade natural yeast to make bread with carefully selected ingredients☺️✨

The owner apparently trained at パンストック, a famous bakery said to be the best in Fukuoka❗️

The shop has a warm atmosphere, with lots of bread lined up beautifully✨

We went right after opening, so some breads were not baked yet.
Even more varieties are displayed than what you see in the photos above❗️

Now, let’s introduce the breads we bought this time😊

A bread recommended by 麭屋さん:
ロデブ（180円税別）

Lodeve bread often has a hard image,
but the version at 麭屋さん is not too hard, has a pleasantly chewy texture, and is easy to eat❗️

Next, this croissant ↓

クロワッサン（180円税別）

It’s a larger croissant with a gentle buttery aroma and an elegant, delicious flavor❤️

Next is a bread recommended for wheat lovers ↓

キタノカオリ（180円税別）

The moment you take a bite, the aroma of wheat fills your mouth!
It has a simple flavor, and it’s highly recommended for anyone who loves wheat🎵

カボチャクリームチーズベーコン（130円税別）

It’s packed with chunky pumpkin with the skin still on, plus cream cheese and fragrant bacon. Absolutely delicious❤️

Finally, here’s the sweet bread that Mii @ Nishitsu highly recommends ↓

カカオドショコラ（160円税別）

This bread is all about chocolate, filled with lots of crispy chocolate chips✨
It’s sweet, the dough is chewy, and if you love chocolate, you’re sure to get hooked😆❗️

At パンストック, the bakery where the owner trained, this bread is so popular that sales are limited to two per person❗️

Every bread we tried was delicious, and the atmosphere inside the shop was lovely✨
