in our “Nishitsu Gourmet” series.
This time, we visited
the okonomiyaki restaurant
“アザミヤ” in Shukugawa Green Town✨
It has a retro brick-style look❗️
In addition to table seating, there’s also a counter,
where you can enjoy watching the food being cooked right on the teppan in front of you😊
Now, let’s introduce the dish we had this time🎵
★ Negiyaki with suji-kon (1,200 yen)
This negiyaki is one of アザミヤ’s popular menu items and was also featured on the TV program “Seyanen”✨
It’s a hearty okonomiyaki packed with green onions😆
For the topping, you can choose either sauce or soy sauce, but if you’re from Kansai, it has to be sauce☺️❤️
It’s also topped with mayonnaise, nori, pickled red ginger, and even more green onions❗️
They ask, “Would you like mayonnaise on top?” so even if you’re not a fan, you can relax✨
When you cut into it, as you can see in the photo, it’s full of green onions❤️
The sauce is rich and pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the green onions. It’s so good☺️✨
In addition to green onions, it has beef tendon and konjac inside, giving it a great texture.
The batter is soft, slightly gooey, and fluffy☁️
It was a very tasty okonomiyaki with a nice savory aroma❗️
It was pretty filling, so I left completely satisfied✨
