This is a festival organized by the Kitaguchicho neighborhood association, and it had continued for 19 years from the post-earthquake recovery period until 2019.
However, it seems it was canceled for two years due to COVID, and with many people wanting to bring it back somehow, it’s being held again this time.
“Watagashi dekita” maybe means kids can make cotton candy? Something like that, perhaps. And “okashi-maki” could be throwing snacks for people to catch?? I wonder what it’ll be like. Sounds intriguing.

They’ll also be selling bread, cookies, and vegetables, and there will be picture books, kamishibai paper theater, and traditional games. Adults can apparently try things like massages for free too, so it seems like a good outing for families with kids!
