It looks like the “MUJI” at Corowa Koshien will open this fall.

Posters were reportedly put up on the walls where Cycle POSTINO used to be on the 1st floor, next to Yoshinoya, and beside the elevator. So it seems likely it will be on the 1st floor.

At first, the app apparently showed that it would open on September 15, but it has now been changed to “Opening in Fall 2023!”
So it seems possible that it may open sometime around September.
The space is quite large, but we’ll write another article once we find out whether the whole area will become MUJI or if other stores will also move in.

It looks like MUJI is coming to Corowa Koshien.

This year, Corowa Koshien had a notice saying it would be renewed this fall, and stores on the 1st floor either moved to the basement or closed.
So it seems likely that “MUJI” will open this fall, probably on the 1st floor.
The job listing site that was the source says it will open this summer, but which is it, fall or summer? I somehow feel like it’ll be around September
Burger King opened in January this year and became a pretty big topic, and since most of the 1st-floor stores closed, many people were probably worried and wondering, “What’s going to happen?” So this may finally make things click.
Even so, Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi has large MUJI stores nearby at both ACTA and Gardens, and it’s interesting that Koshien may have a similar setup with LaLaport and Corowa. We’ll write another article once we find out more about what kind of store it will be.
*Thank you, Hiro N and Kaeitsu, for the information!!
