Here’s a roundup of the 20 food and drink vendors taking part in the Nishinomiya Shrine “Yebisu Beer Festa” coming up on July 9 and 10. I’ll also go over details like where the restrooms are and how the stamp rally works.
First, here’s the venue map ↓

On both the 9th and 10th, the event runs from 16:00 to 21:00. The parking lot won’t be available on the day of the event.

Here are the 20 Nishinomiya food and drink vendors
Here, I’ll introduce the vendors based on last year’s report. Since this is from last year, the food and other offerings may change, so please use it just as a reference.
By the way, beer will only be sold at the two Sapporo booths, and sake will only be sold at the Hakushika booth. Other food vendors will likely be offering alcoholic drinks like lemon sours and highballs.
Headquarters (lottery area)

Right after entering through the Akamon gate, you’ll find the stamp rally lottery area and headquarters.
谷矢製餡

Last year, 谷矢製餡 served “shaved ice from an anko shop.” Wonder what they’ll have this year.
ボマイエ

ボマイエ’s curry is something I order on Uber now and then too. If you’re hungry, this is the one.
タイーム

Their paella was super popular last year. I’m curious whether they’ll have it again this year.
TORIKARA STAND

TORIKARA STAND has won gold at the Karaage Grand Prix many times. Karaage and beer are a perfect match.
祭
Last year, 祭 had plenty of festival staples and drink-friendly foods, including yakisoba, edamame, grilled squid, and stewed beef tendon.
Sapporo Beer

You can compare two kinds of Yebisu beer. This one is by the pine grove.

By the way, beer is sold in two places, and the spot to the right after entering through the Akamon gate is relatively less crowded, so I recommend it. Though now that I wrote that, it might get crowded.
Last year, other alcoholic drinks were also sold at each vendor. Things like chuhai and highballs.
とり松

Last year, they had a collaborative booth with 鳥伸. By the way, 鳥伸 was also popular in Nishi2’s survey, “What’s your favorite yakitori specialty shop in Nishinomiya?”
てんてん
てんてん was selling beef tendon skewers and grilled horumon.
陳餐閣

陳餐閣 serves Chinese food, which is pretty rare at a festival. Kids would probably love things like xiaolongbao.
葛城

The smell of 葛城’s charcoal-grilled yakitori was amazing, and the line never let up. They were definitely the hottest booth around.
白鹿

This is Hakushika’s booth, where the sake is chilled ice-cold. They should also have plenty of easy-to-drink options for women, like yuzu and Hyuganatsu citrus drinks.
炉端デニーロ

Last year, 炉端デニーロ sold unusual items like cheese tempura skewers and red pickled ginger tempura skewers. I bought some too.
つみ木

だしの店 つみ木 should be serving dashimaki again this year too. Being able to eat delicious dashimaki at a festival has practically become a Nishinomiya specialty.
春日

Last year, 春日 may have been the only booth serving ramen. After drinking, you really do start craving it. Super valuable.
串膳

串膳’s kushiage. Exactly the kind of thing that goes with beer. Last year, they had a five-skewer set.
勝っちゃん

This year, 勝っちゃん will have Kagoshima black wagyu nakaochi kalbi skewers for 1,000 yen. It’s wagyu. It’s kalbi. The smell is probably going to be incredible. Also, 勝っちゃん will be joining the meat festival at Koshien Stadium during the Hiroshima games on July 19, 20, and 21.
JA紀南

You can even buy Kishu ume as souvenirs. Great for getting some citric acid in summer.
神戸モンキーズ劇場

There will also be sarumawashi monkey performances. This year, they’ll be held around the parking lot area.
SOLT & PEPPER

This French bistro relocated and opened here from Seidocho, Ashiya City in 2020.
うおかじ宗
A seafood izakaya that moved from Wajocho to Babacho last December. This time, they’ll apparently be selling items like “fried sweet potatoes” and “grilled horumon.”
ゆらり食堂
A kushikatsu izakaya in Tashirocho, Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi. By the way, 高松町’s “島食堂 ゆいたば” is apparently its sister restaurant.
Philip Morris

A safe space for anyone in need of a smoke. This is the Philip Morris booth, which also serves as a smoking area. The location has changed from last year and is now next to the restroom in the parking lot plaza.
There will be all kinds of festival stalls too
In addition to Nishinomiya restaurants, there will also be food stalls and festival games.

Last year,
- baby castella

Nishinomiya’s 三宝屋 will have a baby castella booth! Expect a line! - candied apples
- hashimaki
- cotton candy
- yo-yo fishing
- goldfish scooping
- super ball scooping
- smart ball
- toy lottery
and more were there.
The stall locations are along the red line below.

They’re mainly gathered around the area after entering through the South Gate.
There are 3 restrooms, plus one thing to note
At an event with alcohol, one thing everyone worries about is the restroom situation. There are 3 restrooms inside Nishinomiya Shrine.

There are 2 locations inside the shrine grounds. There’s actually 1 more outside the shrine.
