A huge cumulonimbus cloud could be seen from Nishinomiya today around 4 p.m.

It was so big it almost looked like it was about to come charging at us.

It was on the level where Pazu might say, “Dad was right. The wind is blowing the other way over there.”
It looks nice and fluffy, but cumulonimbus clouds, also known as thunderclouds, can bring lightning and heavy rain, so be careful.
Still, last night’s thunderstorm was pretty intense, wasn’t it? Apparently, around 20,000 homes in Osaka lost power due to lightning strikes.
But when you see cumulonimbus clouds, it really feels like “summer is here,” doesn’t it?
