According to a reader’s tip, the previous shop, Botan, had posted a notice saying, “We’ll be closed for a while as we’re helping out at another shop.” It seems the notice had been up since around five or six months ago.

If you go this way, you’ll find the au Shop used as a filming location for the movie “Fortuna’s Eye,” KidZania Koshien, LaLaport Koshien, and more.
If you go in the opposite direction, there’s an intersection with the Tigers Lawson. Turn right there and go straight to head toward Koshien Stadium and Hanshin Koshien Station.
A Franchise of Menya Gozan in Shin-Osaka?
When I googled it, I found the Tabelog page for “麺や五山” in Shin-Osaka.
I also found a page related to Menya Gozan franchises, so the Menya Gozan Koshien opening this time might be a franchise.
