This one is the “Mon-Cabbage” for 410 yen (tax included), perfect for the current season.
It’s the “Shukugawa Cabbage” with Mont Blanc inside.
When you open it up, there’s a light layer of Mont Blanc cream and chestnut near the top.
Strangely enough, even with this amount, you can clearly taste the Mont Blanc flavor.
This one is perfectly balanced too.
It pairs perfectly with black coffee.
The most popular cake is the “Sachertorte” for 490 yen (tax included).
It’s made generously with Belgian couverture chocolate.
The mildly sweet, bittersweet chocolate is irresistible.
The sponge is moist no matter where you bite into it.
Apparently, they intentionally leave out the jam to make it more suited to Japanese tastes. Kids can enjoy it too.
It says “Shukugawa Cabbage Direct Sales Shop.” The first time I passed by, I thought they were selling actual cabbages. lol
