Looking into it, it seems the Nishinomiya City Wind Orchestra also appeared at the national competition in 1995. For former members, this return to the national stage must feel especially moving.(We couldn’t find records from before that.)
This year, Kamikoshien Junior High School is scheduled to perform in the junior high division at the Kansai competition, while Koshien Gakuin and Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya High School are scheduled to perform in the high school division, so it would be great if they could make it to the national competition too.
By the way, it looks like the Nishinomiya City Wind Orchestra is also recruiting members. Anyone interested should take a look.
