Today, July 7, Nishitsu’s Aocchi
went to the Tanabata🎋 event at Nishinomiya Shrine’s Summer Ebisu Festival. They sent photos back to the Nishitsu office, so this is mostly photos, but here’s an on-site “air report.” The event runs until 9:00 p.m., so use this as a reference if you’re thinking of going.
This was around 7:15 p.m.

Today’s event is Tanabata Amanogawa!

So many lanterns! It really has that festival atmosphere!

Tanabata wish strips are displayed near the main hall.

There are even messages from visitors from overseas!

Fukumimi Fuku-chan with double peace signs!!

There are also various setups in front of the main hall. It looks like the atmosphere will get even better once it gets dark.

Maybe you can ride on the mikoshi and play the taiko drum?

When you think of a festival, you think of food stalls. There are quite a few here! This area is definitely the liveliest.

Yo-yo fishing! Haven’t yo-yos gotten a little bigger lately?? Or is it just me?

The sound of the wind chimes feels refreshing.

It looks like there are performances such as songs too. Sounds fun.

I’m guessing it will look really nice once it gets dark.
If you see this article in time, it’s open until 9:00 p.m.!
Have a wonderful Tanabata!
