It looks like a free jazz music event called “Miyakko SWING DAY” will be held at Naruo Culture Hall.

Here it is ↓

April 29 (Mon., national holiday) Starts at 12:30
It will be held at Naruo Culture Hall 😃
Here it is on the map ↓
The address is 1-12 Furukawa-cho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.
The performing groups are mainly Miyakko locals
A look at a previous event ↓

“Miyakko SWING DAY” seems to be a jazz festival bringing together students, working adults, and professional musicians, with many of the performers being Miyakko locals.
Performing Groups
- Momoiro JAZZ Gakudan
- Furuno Electric Light Music Club (K-on)
- K.G.SKY WING JAZZ ORCHESTRA
- K.G.Swing Charioteers
- Takasu Jazz Orchestra
- Gakubun Jazz Orchestra
- MJO (Magna Junior Jazz Orchestra)
The Nishinomiya place names in “Takasu” and “Gakubun” make them easy to recognize.
“Furuno Electric Light Music Club” is, of course, from one of Nishinomiya’s representative companies, and “Momoiro JAZZ Gakudan” is said to be an adult jazz band based mainly in Nishinomiya.
“KG SKY WING JAZZ ORCHESTRA” and “K.G.Swing Charioteers” are, as their names suggest, from Kangaku.
“Marina Junior Jazz Orchestra” appears to be made up of junior high school students from Nishinomiyahama Compulsory Education School.
And the sponsor, J. College music school, has also been featured on Nishitsu.

You can enter Naruo Culture Hall through the gate of Higashi High School 😄
The palm trees are no longer there. We’d love to get updated photos!
Lastly
Speaking of jazz, the old movie “SWING GIRLS” really brings back memories. “Sing, Sing, Sing,” which played in the movie, is a classic where you can really feel the full force of jazz energy. I love that song 😊 I wonder if we’ll get to hear it at this Miyakko SWING DAY too?
