Central Library Looks Set to Move Around 2030

It looks like Nishinomiya City Central Library will be relocated.

According to Kobe Shimbun, the Central Library appears to be aging, having been open for about 40 years.

The address is 15-26 Kawazoecho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

It looks like it will be built on the north side of Hanshin Nishinomiya Station.

The Central Library is also famous as a real-life location associated with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It’s sad to see it go. Maybe this is just the changing of the times.
